Show o HYLAND. One of the saddest funerals that ever took place from St. Mary's Cathedral Ca-thedral occurred on Thursday morning, morn-ing, when Richard Hyland of Bingham was buried with all the honors of the church. Several days ago the deceased de-ceased met with the accident that caused his death, in one of the Bingham Bing-ham mines. After lingering in intense pain, Mr. Hyland passed away surrounded sur-rounded by his wife and famliy. His funeral took place from St. Mary's Cathedral Ca-thedral on Thursday. Solemn high mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Morrissey, who also preached the funeral fu-neral sermon, which was an eloquent and beautiful tribute to the noble life and fine character of the Christian man. The Cathedral was crowded with hosts of friends who came from Bingham, Bing-ham, Gold Mountain and Mercur to pay the last tribute of respect to one who ever endeared himself to all. It was in the home circle that the real beauty and purity of the life of the deceased was most evident. To the fond parents, the devoted brothers and sisters and most of all to the loving lov-ing young wife and her babies, the affliction is a terrible one. May God in His infinite mercy comfort com-fort them in this bitter hour. When the first grief is past the remembrance remem-brance that their dear one is safe forever for-ever in God's tender keeping, will lessen les-sen the sorrow that is now almost too great to bear. To the dear babies the memory of their Christian father will, . as the years go on, be the grandest heritage. To all the bereaved ones the Inter-mountain Inter-mountain Catholic extends sincere sympathy. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace! |
