Show J RHY0LITE, NEV. j John McGee, accompanied by two companions, returned to Rbyolite New Year s night from Grcenwater. Miss Olga Ketelsen has gone to Woodland, Cal., where she will attend the Sisters' school for the balance of the year. District Attorney Patrick McCarrcn of Tonopah was in Rhyolite Thursday on business connected with his offiee. Frank Joe Mannix, who has been studying law at the Denver university for a year and a half past, came to Rhyol te on Wednesday to remain a month or so. 1 On the first Sunday of the new year the Catholics of Rhyolite held a meeting meet-ing for the purpose of completing a business organization for the year. The following officers were chosen: Committee on Ways and, Means Mrs. W. D. Wolice, Mrs. A. .1. Mcpherson, Mcpher-son, Grandma Griffin, Messrs. J. Doyle, A. McKenon.'A. J. Klamt. Trustees Messrs. J. F. Phelan, A. J. Klamt, J. J. Kelly. Upon the same date new officers were installed by the' Altar society of the church: President Mrs. F. P. Mannix. Vice President Mrs. Pete Busch Treasurer Mrs. Eugene Wharton. Meeting first Sunday of month. W. J. and R. F. Tobin, the latter recently re-cently from Denver, went . out to the Pioneer Thursday morning. |
