Show ; v . . THE GIRL WHO PLEASES. . The girl with laughter in her eyes, a pleasant smile for everybody, or kind words and gentle deeds will be much more charming, even though far less beautiful, than the girl of pretty- face who is "stuck up," supercilious, disagreeable and has an exalted opinion of her own importance. While there is charm in the pretty face, there must be back of it womanhood in. its perfection. The art of being a woman is indeed a great one. There arc women who always do things right, and there are others who always do them wrong. Hpw often do we see this in public!! A w,oman imagines, often without reason, that somebody is encroaching upon her rights, She puts loose with volley of angry words, making herself intensely - disagreeable, whereas if she had spoken softly she would have accomplished far more and there would have been .no sting to her words.
