Show SISTER SUPERIOR NOLASCO GOES TO ALBUQUERQUE TOR HER HEALTH. A change took place this week in the personnel of Logan avenue school, when Sister Nolasco, the Sister Superior, Super-ior, left, and Sister Mary Carlos assumed as-sumed the duties of Superior. Sister Nolasco goes to Albuquerque, where she will be Sister Superior of St. Vincent's Vin-cent's school and also Supervisor of the five parochial schools of that city. This will take her out of doors and also remove her to a milder winter climate, which is the reason for her being transferred to Albuquerque. Sister Sis-ter Nolasco has been in Denver eight years and in that time has become very much endeared to the pupils who have been under her charge. She is a fine musician and has brought the musical standard of the school up to a high point. Her 'successor. Sister Mary Carlos, came to Denver from Detroit at the same time as Sister Nolasco. She has been a teacher in the high school department de-partment and is considered one of the best instructors in the order of the Sisters Sis-ters of Charity, this school being from the Cincinnati 'house, founded by Mother Seton. Another change will be the transfer of Sister Valeria to the Sacred Heart I school on Lawrence. Sister Mary Gabrielle will come from Cincinnati to take her place. |
