Show T Sisters Killed at Liao Yang. i It has always been the proud boast of Cath-' olics that where suffering humanity reauired min istration the good Sisters of Charity would be found. The services rendered by the Sisters of Charity to the work of the Red Cross'1 society in successive wars have done more than will ever be told to alleviate the horrors of war. Some weeks since it was recorded that 700 Sisters of the Catholic Cath-olic orders had proceeded to the front; and it is to be regretted that in the severe fighting at Liao Yang one was severely wounded, while, two others were killed. In the attack on the Kussian position posi-tion the first Japanese shell injured one Sister and while the Kussian Avoundcd were being entrained a shrapnel burst near an ambulance, killing two others. , . |
