Show j RHY0LITE, NEV. j W. J. To bin and brother, Richard, returned re-turned Thursday from the annual stockholders' meeting of the Pioneer company at Phoenix. Ariz. The Ladies' Altar society met at the j home of Mrs. Thomas Kilker on Golden I street Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The St. Patrick's eve dance given in Rhyolite by the women of the Catholic church was the best attended at-tended and probably one of ! the most complete social successes of ' the season. There were more than 150 dancers on the floor, most of which crowd stayed until the wee sma' hours of "St. Patrick's day in the morning." A very enjoyable repast was served on the occasion by the ladies of the congregation, con-gregation, consisting of sandwiches and coffee, also cake and other light delicacies. delica-cies. The tables were decorated in green out of respect for the season, and the ladies demonstrated their desire to leave nothing undone to make the event enjoyable. An abundance of first-class punch, the donation of Fred Miller of the stock exchange, was ' opened throughout the evening. The Odd Fellows' Fel-lows' club, which had so kindly resigned its regular night in favor of the Catholics Catho-lics as originally planned, were given a unanimous vote of thanks.
