Show IRISH HOME-GOING A SUCCESS. The Irish home-going during the season now (dosing was a great success, according to reports brought back from Ireland by Frank J. Kilkenny, president of the Irish Home-Going association, who has just returned from a visit to Erin. "Never before have Americans visited Ireland in such great numbers." said Mr. Kilkenny. ''We were informed that 160d0 landed at Queenstown alone, and that many thousands more landed at other places in Ireland. Everywhere we went in Ireland we found the people as a whole enthusiastic enthusi-astic over the home-coming aud thoroughly in sympathy with its aims and objects. "The people of Ireland realize that it is up to them to take hold and develop the home-going movement, and they may be expected to do all in their power to make the movement permanent and an annual success." |
