Show FL0KENCE. (CorrcsponJenco Intermountain Catholic.) ! Florence. Colo., Feb. 13. A fair for the benefit of St. Benedict's chapel will be held at the Houston hall immediately immedi-ately after Easter Sunday, and will be kept up for the three nights of April 16, 17 and 18: There will be. many attractive at-tractive features to this fair, and every effort on the part of the Catholics will ! be made to render it a perfect success. I Rev. Father Edmund has undertaken j the task of teaching the violin to a young gentleman of this town, but j whether his pupil has the aptitude for I learning this instrument is a question j that Time alone will have to decide. There will be High Mass at the Catholic Cath-olic church every Sunday at 1 a. m. tin- til the summer months, and the Litany j and Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament will take place at the usual hour of 7:30 in the evening. Mr. Adelard Perron has made some improvements on his dwelling on Pike's Peak avenue and Sixth street. It is thought by some of his friends that these preparations have been made with a view to matrimony. Mr. Perron has been one of the faithful Catholics here from the start, by assisting the Rev. Pastor at the altar and in various other ways. We hope that whoever comes to join him in his domestic affairs af-fairs will not delay too long in making his home a very happy one. |
