Show THE BAZAAR Last Sunday afternoon the members of the Altar Society held a special and very important meeting at the Bishop's residence. The business of the afternoon pertained entirely to the bazaar. Another special meeting is called for next Sunday afternoon. The chairmen of the various committees commit-tees request that people desiring to donate anything for the bazaar should hand in their names and article to be given before next Sunday, if possible. In the vestibule of the Cathedral there will be found a book, in which it is requested that those who are going go-ing to donate anything for the bazaar shall put their nam and the name of the article to be donated. Please do not overlook this matter. The bazaar will be held this year in Cathedral Hall on Tuesday. November 29, Wednesday, November 30, and Thursday, December 1. It will open Tuesday evening with a dinner, to be served from 6 until S o'clock. The Knights of Columbus orchestra will play during the evening and also on Thursday evening, while all Hallows College orchestra will furnish the music mu-sic for Wednesday evening. On Wed- nesday and Thursday a merchants' I lunch will be served between the hours of 12 and 2 o'clock. Tickets are going go-ing fast, both for the dinner, which is one dollar, and the lunch, which is fifty cents. The ladies in charge of the various booths are the following: Parish Mrs. E. F. Kaufman, Mrs. Durkin, Mrs. Farnsworth and Mrs. Langstaff. Fancy Work Booth Mrs. J. C. Daly, Mrs. Lillard, Mrs. Burbank and Miss Margraet Gibbons. Doll Booth Mrs. C. A. Quigly. Miss Gertrude Hansen, Miss Mary Jenkins and Miss Lydla White. The Sodality Booth The Misses Ella El-la Canning, Clara Driscoll. Frances McChrystal. Margaret McMahon and Miss Martha Plumhoff. Children's Booth The Misses Lout-ta Lout-ta Boehler, Katherine Homer. Margaret Mar-garet O'Brien and Dorothy White. Fortune-telling Booth Miss Margery Mar-gery Mulvey and Miss North. Lunch Mrs. O'Connor. Mrs. McDonald Mc-Donald and Mrs. "Weseott. Mrs. Hughes has charge of the lunch and dinner tickets, which are going fast. The executive committee is composed compos-ed of Reverend "U. K. Ryan, Mrs. J. O'Connor and Mrs. TTescott. Finance committee is composed of Reverend W. K. Ryan and Mrs. Bur-bank. |
