Jr., of Portumna. . Kings County. On August 1, Right Rev. Dr.'Gaugli-ran, Dr.'Gaugli-ran, Bishop of Meath. consocrated the new cemetery at Kilcormac, King's, county. A large congregation of the faithful of the parish attended the ceremonies, which were preceded by the ccl-braiion of a Solemn High Mass. The preacher, Father Curry, P. P., V F.t Drogheda, delivered an eloquent elo-quent and impressive sermon. ' The site of the cemetery is a beautiful one, overlooked by the Slievebloom Mountains. Moun-tains. It is the gift of the landlord, Mr. Stoney." Kilkenny. Gerald Brennan, J. P., died at his residence, Eden Hall, Ballyragget, on August 1. He was for many years prominently connected with public affairs in Co. Kilkenny. Keath. The death occurred on July 31, at the parochial residence, Athboy, of Very Rev. Michael Fox, P. P. He was S2 years of age, and had been pastor of St. James', Athboy, for the past thirty-five' years. A few weeks ago he caught a cold while attending the Dieesan Retreat at Mullingar, and he never fully recovered from its effects. He was beloved by his people who will sorely miss his kindly counsels. On Aug. 2 the Solemn Office of the Dead was said and High Mass of Requiem was sung by his nephew, Very Rev. Phillip Gallery V. G Tullamore.'At the conclusion of the ceremonies the remains re-mains were borne to their last resting place in the pretty graveyard attached to the church. The large funeral cortege cor-tege which attended testified the love and esteem they felt for the deceased priest. Queens. Over thirty of the parlshoners of St. Albancs, Liverpool, who had come over specially for the occasion, were present pres-ent at Slieverue Churchyard, Co. Waterford, Wat-erford, on August 3, when a beautiful limestone cross, which they had erected erect-ed over the grave of their late Rector, the Rev. John Buckley, who died at Waterford in February, 1908, was unveiled. un-veiled. The vistors were accompanied I by the Rev.
