Show T0N0PAH, NEV. ; j (Special Correspondence.) Rev. Father Roser is officiating during dur-ing our pastor's absence. ' The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Lynch was christened by Rev. Father Roser last week. The young man is named after his two grandfathers. George Edwards and Master Tom, Jr.. and Miss Gertrude Edwards stood as sponsors. Mr. John Murphy has returned from Salt Lake having taken in the sights of the dedication and the Grand Army. The baseball game between the Elks and Eagles vas largely attended. The proceeds go towards paying for the fence. The members of the two teams were in fancy costume, representing Zulus,- orientals and clowns. Our chief of police. Ed Mally. did himself proud. whether at the bat, sprinting or catching, but Mr. Johnson is the classiest class-iest runner, according to the ladies' version. 1 Mrs. Ed Clifford, wife of the discoverer discov-erer of Ellendale. was thrown from a wagon and had her knee dislocated. She was- removed to her daughter's home in Tonopah by auto and is resting easily. |
