Show Just a Thought A childish good time does not consist in never being punished. No, indeed, there are times when even the very best of children, just like grown-up people, need the strongest kind of discipline. But the thing is not to be scolding and nagging at them all the -time, making them cross and irritable and developing in them nervous and ugly dispositions which will cling to them all their lives. The thing is to punish them and then forget all about it, and be kind, considerate and gentle. |
