Show 1 GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. ! 1 ; - lj (Special Correspondence.) Miss Carris Lindly has returned io her home in Colorado Springs to spend the holidays with her folks. Miss Laura Deming of Montrose. Colo., came down last week and spent the day with Mr., and Mrs. E. R. Sims. Miss Mae Carrol left last week for Ouray, Colo., where she will be the guest of her brother. Mr. E. R. Sims accepted a position with the C. D. Smith Drug "ompany during the holiday season. Mr. and Mrs. Sims left Christmas night for Salt Lake. Miss Agnes' Cosgrove returned Lome last week to spend her Christmas vacation va-cation with her parents. Mr. Cos-grove Cos-grove also returned after a six week slay in California. We are pleased to see Mr. Cosgrove looking so well. Mr. Harry G rovers, who has been in Salt Lake at the Holy Cross hospital, came home last Sunday- to spend Christmas with his parents on White George Lander expects to 8 on his vacation next week. He will take a week or ten days in the hills hunting. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Shellenberger left last Friday for a trip to Ransom, Kan., and will spend the holidays with parents and friends. The rus-h at the posloffiee and express ex-press offices is at its height and the employes are straining every effort to care for the business and to accommodate accommo-date the people as rapidly as possible. On Friday afternoon it seemed discouraging discour-aging to try to get in line. Maude Fealy in "The Illusions of Beatrice," and George Ade's "Sultan of Sulu" are Manager Harkell's Christmas offerings at the Park opera house. |
