Show Interesting Ir True. In giving his impression of his recent re-cent trip round the world. Rt Rev Monsignor Hendrick. of Ovid, N. Y., gave it as his opinion that the Japanese Japan-ese are desirous of possessing the Philippine Islands. He went even further, saying he would like to impress im-press it firmly upon the American mind that the Japanese are a treacherous treach-erous people and knew it to be a fact that even when the American fleet was anchored in Japanese waters they were all ready to cut the wires between be-tween the United States and Philippines Philip-pines and seize the islands, but were restrained from so doing by their almost bankrupt condition.
