' The Cathedral choir was sump tuously entertained by Bishop Fcanlan on Thursday at Saltair. More than fifty sat down to a delicious supper, find, of course, they did not say the ' bishop was kind; no. they shouted it. ' The Altar society extends many thanks to Miss Kate Halloran and Mrs.f Fanning for the beautiful floral offerings offer-ings they brought for the first Friday. , ' As next Monday is the great feast of the Assumption and the anniversary of the dedication of the cathedral, spe- irial decorations of the altars will be ' d- ne on Saturday. It is hoped that many of the ladies will bring flowers to lay at the shrine of our Blessed Mother on this, one of the greatest of Her feast days. |
