Is in the city for a few days' respite and to hold a conference with the management. The Z. C. M. I. employes gave a second sec-ond dancing party at Christensen's hall last Thursday evening. Mrs. H. H- Gilchrist and son, Frank, of Kearney. Xeb.. are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Joel L. Priest. Mrs. Edward Parsons has gone to Denver to be away for several weeks. ;j Mrs. W. H. Monahan, who has been ill at St. Mark's hospital, is recovering i and will shortly be taken to her home. Manager Joe Dederich went out to the Black Diamond, at Stockton, Tuesday. 4 ' Peter Martin of Park City was in the city last Monday. Henry Welsh spent a few day's here last week. f The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Powers will regret to hear of the serious illness of their bright little daughter, Rosanna. ' f P. E. Mrs. Sarah Cannon has returned to I her home, after a delightful visit with Mr. and Mrs- C. H. Jenklnson. f The baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. McDonough, .who has beep visiting vis-iting in this city for the past six weeks, received a dispatch last Tuesday from the management of the Johnny mine, at Stateline. requesting him to return and take charge of things there once more. Mrs 'Gray is a guest of her mother, Mrs Sinclair. - -..-. f Timothy Sullivan, former superinten-of superinten-of the fiver King bonanza, left for Los Angeles recently, accompanied bv Mrs. Sullivan.
