Owen O'Roark, a well-known mining man of this city, has gone to Goldfield to take charge of a mine there. Timothy Kyle returned from an extended ex-tended eastern trip the latter part of the week. John D. Murphy, of West Seventh street, is spending a few days in Pueblo Pu-eblo for his health. Mrs. T. Dunn" entertained a few of her many lady friends on Wednesday afternoon of last week, at an elegant course dinner. Those enjoying the hospitality hos-pitality of Mrs. Dunn were Mesdames Fames, O'Brien. Glllett. Parr. Davis. Gildea. Buchannan, Carr, McGaskill, and Misses Dunn and Willey. Misses Edna and Leona Hanifeii entertained en-tertained a number of their friends at a skating party Saturday afternoon at the Palace ice rink. After the children had enjoyed themselves cutting up the ice with their fancy figures, they were all taken to the home of Annie Samuel, Sam-uel, vNere a dainty lunch awaited them.
