As the result of a formal proposition I submitted in writing to the city of Los Angeles there is a possibility that the I "Gothenburg saloon system" may be j installed in .that eity, supplanting the-pteseut. the-pteseut. private ownership' of the 200 I saloons there. The proposition came from twenty-five leading business men I of the city, among the number be- ing several possessing personal for-; for-; tunes of millions.
