Miss Elizabeth O'Brien and her nephew, neph-ew, William Murphy, Jr., left on Wednesday Wed-nesday morning for an extended visit to Ireland. They -will not return to Salt Lake until the fall. Senator Kearns returned from Washington Wash-ington Wednesday. j Joseph Daynes. jr.. manager of thj Clayton Music company, has just returned re-turned from a trip to Los Angeles. Gibson will leave early In June to attend the national council, Knights of Columbus, to be held at Louisville, Ky., on June 7. Mr. Gibson Gib-son will also attend the convention of the Sons of the American Revolution, to be held at St. Louis, June 16 and 17. J Mrs. Joseph Dederich entertained a number of ladies at her beautiful home last week, and a pleasant informal affair af-fair it was. About forty were present, and the. afternoon was spent in sewing and chatting. Miss Gertrude Dederich and Miss. .Louise Hoefer, two dainty maidens, assisted in entertaining the guests.
