DEPLORES DEPLORES ACT oN OF MOB Grand Jury Returns Twelve Indictments Indict Indict- ments hi in In Springfield Cases I Springfield Mo o. o Ma May 23 A A report 4 from the special grand jury jUr Investigating investigating estl gating the mob of ot April 24 which lynched Inched three negroes was made to Judge Lincoln late hate this afternoon and the Jury dismissed I The report finds that Duncan and I Q Coker two of ot the negroes hanged were Innocent and that no assault was committed on Mrs Edwards the white woman roman and that both the sheriff his deputies and the police department were negligent In the performance of ot their duty The report vehemently vehement deplores the action of the mob and Is outspoken against mob law In every even form It is understood that twelve indictments were returned but no names will be made public until the arrests are made
