Officiating was the birde's father, Bishop Rudolph Uucgsegger of Malad. Relatives and immediate friends of the couple were in attendance and saw them off on a trip thru .Montana and Yellowstone park. The bride was educated in Malad Ma-lad schools, residing there until a few months ago when she moved to this community. Mr. Boetticher has been in Preston for the past two years in the capacity of Union Pacific telegraphed. His parents. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Boetticher, reside re-side in Butte, Montana. HOUSE-WARMING PARTY HELD AT SMITH HOME Mrs. Eda Smith was pleasantly surprised last Friday evening when a group of her friends called call-ed to greet her for a house-warming. A delicious 1 uncheon was served and the afternoon spent playing bridge. Mrs. Lorna Larson won the score prize. The girls presented pre-sented Mrs. Smith with a lovely gift for her new home. HONORED BY WEAVER SISTERS BIRTHDAY CLUB A spectacular event took place at the home of Earl Weaver last week when the Weaver Sisters' Birthday club met in misfit attire to .celebrate the birthday of Lillian Lil-lian Weaver, the costumes were varied and extreme. The guest of honor dressed aa Simple Simon won the first prize however. Second place went to Mrs. Kinnie Johnson as Peter Piper. Pi-per. Others who rated high were Allie Bell Hull as a Honolulu dancer, Jennie Holt as Queen of Shena, and Tyra Bushell as a bride of yesteryear. Out of town guests included Tyra Bushell of Los Angeles, Virginia Vir-ginia Koiman and Francis Weave:-of Weave:-of Salt Lake and Harriet Gilbert of Fail-view. The serving table was presided over by Mrs. It. R. Powell and Ms. G. W. Slates. They were assisted as-sisted by Misses Lucille Matighan, Evelyn Jenkins, Hotly Smith, Beth Smith, Clara Marie Rowell and Anna ' Mae Palmer. The appointments appoint-ments were in yellow and blue. As a closing number Mr. Chrislenseii led the audience in singing "God Bless America." RETURN FROM HONEYMOON TRIP TO EASTERN STATES Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bunker returned Sunday evening from their honeymoon trip which included in-cluded a trip to the New- York's World Fair, two days in Canada, a visit in Baltimore. Maryland, with Mrs. Evelyn Swainslon Chase and a cousin in Washington, D. ('., and Miss Ohvyn Evans, a student stu-dent in Chicago, and many other points of interest. Mr. Bunker has accepted a position po-sition as First Lieutenant in the U. S. Army of the ROTO at the Utah State Agrictillural college in Logan. In this position he will be instructor of military tactics in that school. Mrs. Bunker was formerly Miss Helen Palmer. They will make their home in Logan. The Misses Olive Geddes and Virginia Evans of Boise are in Preston spending their vacation with relatives. Miss Louise Peterson is spending spend-ing a two week's vacation in Salt Lake. MOT! 1 ERS'-DAUGHTERS' PARTY HELD AT LINROSE The Mothers' and Daughters' party for the Linrose ward was held last Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Modesto Tomasi. A very entertaining program was presented. Games were played and refeshments served on the spacious lawn. A large crowd attended. at-tended. A baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stevenson and one to Mr. and Mrs. Grant Bingham of Linrose recently. ENTERTAINS CALIFORNIA AVIATION ENTHUSIAST Mr. and Mrrs. Paul K. Smith entertained as their guest last week, Mr. Smith's niece, Mrs. Charles H. Babb of Los ASeles Mrs. Babb is secretary of the Aviation Breakfast club and press correspondent of several other aviation clubs in Los Angeles and sells planes to the Canadian gov eminent.
