Show G LEND ALE Wayne Webster who has spen' the past two years working in Los Angeles, Calif., is spending his vacation va-cation home wltii his parents, Mr and Mrs. Asa Webster and family. He will be married while he is here. The bride-elect Miss Dorothy Doro-thy Taylor and her mother, Mrs. Samuel Taylor accompanied him on the trip home. Mrs. Asa Webster entertained at a party in honor of the couple ' on Monday evening. T he t;me was spent in playing games and res freshments were served. They re ceived many beautiful and useful gifts from the friends and relatives rela-tives present. The marriage will be , solemnized solemn-ized in the Salt Lake temple Wednesday Wed-nesday August 28. They will return re-turn to Los Angeles to make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Asa Bodily of Fairview, visted with Mr. and , Mrs. Christian J. Lai'sen and fam ily this week. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Phelps spent the week end with Mrs. Phelps' parents Mr. and Mrs. John Haddon and family. Mark Checketts of Preston, Idaho, Ida-ho, was transacting business in this community Tuesday afternoon. after-noon. Miss Mona Smith of Riverdalt was a week-end guest of her cou-sn cou-sn Miss Norma Wheeler. Mrs. Eulalia W. Larsen was taken ta-ken to the hospital in Preston, Idaho, Monday. Mrs. Larsen has been ill for the past two months. Mrs. Luzon Draney of Salt Lake City who has been with her sis herter, Mrs. Euallia Larsen for a couple of weeks returned to her home this week. Miss Ramona Larsen went with her to spend a few days. Miss June Bergquist is spending a few days with her aunt Mrs. Alta Auguer who had a tonsil operation op-eration last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Webstei and family of Pocatello, Idaho, spent the week end visiting with their parents Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Webster and family and other relatives rel-atives and friends. Hyrum D. Jensen of Logan was visiting with relatives in this community one day this week. |
