Show SCHOOLS TO CONSTRUCT MODEL PLANES FOR NAVY J. W. Studebaker, U. S. Commissioner Commis-sioner of Education, and the Stale Department of Education have asked, ask-ed, the Preston school to make from 50 to 100 model airplanes. These models have been requested by the Navy Bureau of Aeronautics from which complete plans and specifications will be secured. The models will be used in the training train-ing program of the navy. While complete details are not yet available avail-able it is probable that most of the students taking shop in the junior and senior high schools will soon have an opportunity to construct one of these models. Since the models must be constructed from blue prints they furnish a way for valuable training as well as providing provid-ing another way for young people to assist in the war program. |
