Show lation and encouragement and paid tribute to the worthy character of the deceased. The opening prayer was by Lloya S. Trice and Glen Swann offered th benediction. The grave was dedicated by Reuben Jensen of Salt Lake City and uncle of Phoebe. Interment was in the Clarkston cemetery. The prayer at the home, was offered of-fered by William J. Jensen of Fish Hr.ven, Idaho, another uncle. MANY PAY TRIBUTE TO PHOEBE JENSEN Funeral services were held in the Dayton ward chapel for Phoebe Jensen, daughter of the late Bishop Alma L. Jensen and Eldena Erick-son Erick-son Jensen, Monday at 12 noon, with Bishop Godfrey Schwartz in charge. The ward choir under the direction direc-tion of Mrs. Lucetta B. Archibald, with Mrs. Ann G. Hansen at the organ, sang three numbers, "Sistei Thou Wast Mild and Lovely," "Some Time We'll Understand," and "We Lay Thee Softly Down to Rest;" special numbers were duets, "Cast Thy Bread Upon the Water, by Mrs. Maud S. Buttars and Walter Wal-ter Beutler, and "Whispering Hope" by the Misses Emma and Dorothy Bobbins with Mrs. Archibald Archi-bald accompaning on the piano. The speakers were Leroy Archibald, Archi-bald, George A. Griffeth, Bishop Schwartz of Dayton and Stake Patriarch Pa-triarch David G. Eames of Preston, all of whom spoke words of conso- 1 |
