Show SERVICE'S ARE HELD FOR MRS. CARSWELL Funeral services were conducted ' Saturday afternoon in the Franklin 1 v.ard chapel for Mrs. Alice Cars-Iwell Cars-Iwell with Bishop Fraud Woodward conducting. The choir led by Mrs. j Lonetta Packer and accompanied ! by Mary Smith sang "Sister Thou Was .Mild and Lovely;" prayer, A. E. Fuhi'iman; song by the choir, 'Beautiful Zion." Request speakers at the funeral were John A. . Lowe, who recalled as a child his memory of Mrs. Cars-well; Cars-well; Bishop Earl H. Shumway, told of tlie faithfulness of the deceased in her tithing and fast offerings; and Quintin Shumway, her ward teacher. The choir sang "Good Night and Good Morning;" Douglas Oliverson and Reed Stockdale rendered the song, 'Jesus Lover Of My Soul," and closing remarks were made by Bishop Woodward; closing song by the choir, "Parting Now From Care and Sorrow;" prayer, Milton Woodward. The grave at the Weston cemetery ceme-tery was dedicated' by Edwin Crockett. |
