Show Funeral Services Held Monday For George R R. C. C Henson Funeral services for tor George R. R O. O Henson 36 38 who died Saturday evening at the Iron County Hospital Hos Hos- Hospital pital from a heart attack were held Monday afternoon in the Cedar Cedar Cedar Ce Ce- dar City L. L D. D S. S Third Ward chapel with Bishop Samuel F F. Leigh pre pro siding aiding The Trie choir opened the services by singing Abide With Me after which the opening prayer was of offered offered of of- feted by Samuel B. B Jones The choir then sang ng Though Deepening Deepen Deepen- ing Trials William Mendenhall was the first speaker and was WM followed by a solo Beautiful Isle by Bert Carpenter The next speaker was Scott Beott Day with a 10 tribute being read by Miss Beulah The concluding speaker was waa Bp Samuel F F. Leigh and the closing song by the choir Understand Cleo Bishop offered the benediction All singing was accompanied accompanied ac ac- ac companied by Mrs Lynn Macfarlane Macfar- Macfar lane Following the services the body was taken to Austin Texas for burial Mr Henson was born November 24 1903 In T Tennessee a son of Richard and Hattie tattle Norval Henson He came to to Cedar City from tram Texas about three years ago and worked for tor the Lunt Motor company for tor a period of two yean yeah Due to ill health he was forced to give up his work there and moved to Panguitch where he lived for several months before returning to Cedar City Following his return his condition continued to grow worse resulting In death Saturday The deceased is survived by his widow Mrs Florence M. M Mince and five children |
