Football Team Trounces Las Vegas Eleven Displaying a smooth working and versatile offense and s powerful defense Coach Tuff Branch Dranch Agricultural College football football foot foot- ball team ran roughshod over a highly touted Las Vegas Nevada high school term team Saturday afternoon afternoon after after- noon In the first home game and final practice game of the season The final score was 63 62 to 0 with the Aggles scoring on long runs and sustained marches almost every time they gained possession of the bail bril With excellent blocking paving the way for speedy ball carriers the Aggles scored eight touchdowns rolled up 14 1 first downs and gained yards from running plays and 89 yards from passes for a total of 53 yards while holding the to 3 4 yards from run run- running running ning fling plays and 27 yards from passes for a total of 31 yards The game gme was less than a minute old when Dazil Mathews Aggie tackle blocked a Las Vegas punt and recovered the ball on his own 10 yard line Leon Theobald quarterback quarterback quarterback took the ball over on the first play pUy for the first score of the game and Captain Gail Duncan fullback converted with a place kick Shortly afterwards the took the ball to the Vegas 8 yard line but lost the ball bail when two passes were knocked down However However However How How- ever when the visitors kicked out Theobald returned the punt 15 IS yards and on the first first play Craig Crabb halfback went around end for 42 yards to the three where he to Art Pilgrim end who went over for the second touch touch- down The conversion attempt failed fail faU- failed ed and the quarter ended with the local team leading 13 to 0 O.
