| Show Federated Clubs Clubs' Golden Jubilee Social Success The Women's Federated Clubs Golden Jubilee held last Thursday April 18 and attended by large crowds at each occasion was re reported reported re- re reported ported as a complete success both socially and financially Opening with a Musicale at three o'clock In the Second Ward chapel some of the finest talent available was presented to a most Ive ve audience Following this the ladles ladies were conducted through a delightful art display set up In Inthe Inthe inthe the recreation hall and featuring an elaborate showing of domestic artwork such as quilts needlepoint crocheting etc as well as many fine costume pieces from foreign lands Drawing much attention were the fine displays sent from the shops at the Junior high school and Branch Agricultural College The Junior High School collection was a table of soap models which showed unusual ability In their sculpturing The college display was wasa a group of Cedar chests tables and other articles of household furniture furniture furni furni- ture showing outstanding work work- manship Tea was served from the downstairs downstairs downstairs down down- stairs reception rooms which carried carried carried car car- ried out a spring color scheme with gold predominating to commemorate commemorate rate the golden jubilee The long table was centered with a bowl of golden rosebuds flanked by yellow tapers In crystal holders An orange Ice was served from crystal punch punchbowls punchbowls punchbowls bowls and napkins carried out the scheme bearing a gilt gUt motif Pouring were Mrs B. B F F. Knell and and Mrs W. W H. H Leigh prominent Cedar City club women They were gowned in black sheer designed In floor length models and wore spring corsages Music for the tea was furnished I by a group of college girls who gave vocal and Instrumental numbers throughout the afternoon was a group of club women women- all wearing floor length gowns In pastel shades to harmonize harmon harmon- harmonize ize with the flower backgrounds background These Included Mrs George M.
