Show MINK CREEK NEWS NOTES By Anna Beth Jensen ,K' .c:, e, b::. e ' r.:E.:.'i-:::P: .s:...e.: a: MIXK CREEK The Elders quorum quo-rum is sponsoring a farewell program pro-gram and dance in honor of Elder Nathaniel Keller who is leaving for Salt Lake on Saturday. From there he is going on a mission to Texas. This will start promptly at eight o'clock Saturday night, February Feb-ruary 14. The retiring bishopric sponsored a party for Elder Nathaniel Keller at hisj home last Sunday evening. All members of the Junior choir were present. There was a program pro-gram which consisted of some missionary mis-sionary experiences as told by Adam Keller, a duet by Mr. and Mrs. Delinar Hansen, a reading by Mrs. Eulalia Bennett, jokes by Harry Jensen, remarks by the new bishop, Hyrum Bell, and a reading by Miss Betty Lou Wilde. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served by Mrs. Maha-lia Maha-lia Jensen, Mrs. Dora Jensen, and Mrs. Annie Keller. The MIA Gold and Green Bali which was held last Friday night was a huge success. The queen was Miss Gloria Nelson, with Donna Don-na Larsen and Merle Crane acting as attendants. Reed Jensen presented pre-sented the que.en. The MIA dance was presented with Varon Jensen, Beverly Bell, Junior Bell, MarRue Keller, Dallas Keller, Maxine Larsen, Lar-sen, Reed Jensen, and Gloria Nelson Nel-son participating. Mrs. Lillian Nelson gave a dinner din-ner in honor of Elder Nathaniel Keller last Saturday evening. The guests were Gloria Nelson, Helen Johnson, Merna Nelson, Anna Beth Jensen, Hortense Larsen, Geraldine Nelson, Nathaniel Keller, Rodney Jensen, Reed Condie, Veloy Auger, Letho Auger, Verlon Jepsen, Mar-del Mar-del Nelson, and Kenneth. Nelson. They enjoyed a delicious dinner and then played games. Several local people attended the farewell party for Miss Veloy An-draeson An-draeson in Cleveland last Saturday night. They were; Mr. and Mrs. Annie Keller, Ruel Keller, Guy Smith, Mrs. Louise Crane and Miss Merle Crane who joined Far-rel Far-rel Jensen when she arrived. |
