Show College Capture Opening League Games Completely outclassing their op opponents opponents opponents op- op in every department of play the Branch Dranch Aggie basketball team won the opening games of ot the southern division league play with ease defeatIng defeating defeating defeat- defeat Ing Dixie on the local floor by scores of 53 to 32 and 37 to 17 The Aggie team a fast breaking ag aggregation aggregation aggregation ag- ag displayed a passing attack and defense that completely bewildered bewilder bewilder- ed the visitors and left no doubt as to which was the better team However Dixie did have unusually bad luck with their shooting which naturally had an effect on the players If they have ha better luck In their return games with the Aggles the battles should be much closer In the first game the Aggles ran away from the Flyers from the start and piled up a 22 to 6 lead In the first quarter and held the lead with ease for the balance of the game The half tided 31 to 16 10 and the third quarter quarter quarter ter 44 H to 24 The second game was a repetition of the first except that neither team scored as heavily B B.
