Show Cache County Fair the Thrifty Ten club won first prize on the group of misses' dresses: Gayla Hancey won frist prize on her child's dress and La Ree Lamb won third prize. The Ladies' Literary club enjoyed en-joyed their annual summer party at the home of Miss Eulalia Lee Friday afternoon. Luncheon was served at small tables followed by an afternoon of bridge. The following fol-lowing were present: Myrle Ash-croft, Ash-croft, Ardilla Hancey, Orma Thurston, Avon Lamb, Afton Evans, Ev-ans, Lucretia Ashcroft, Florence Clark, Ruby Hurren, Andrea Lamb Wanda Ashcroft, Hattie Lee, Sadie Hancey, Eulalia Lee, Ethel Balls, Ethelyn Thurston, Delia Hyde, Lucille Waite and Gladys Hancey who was a special guest The party was in charge of Lucille Waite, Andrea Lamb, Avon Lamb and Myrle Ashcroft. Mrs. Orilla Ashcroft returned home Monday evening from Idaho Falls where she has spent a week visiting friends. Misses.' Mabel, Irene and Erma Burgess of California, are visiting relatives and friends in town. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Petersen, Miete Mabel Burgess, Miss Irene Burgess and Miss Erma Burgess visited last week at Rigby, Idaho, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lambert Lam-bert Burgess. Miss Itha Johnson, of Benson, visited with Mrs. Lillie McQuarrie Friday and Saturday. Henry Seamons has returned to his home after being confined at a local hospital for two days receiving treatment for an eye injury. s Fenton Christoffersen and Del-mar Del-mar Matkin have returned to their homes after a trip to Sacramento, California. HYDE PARK S HYDE PARK The Chicqo bridge club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Harold Daines Friday evening. ev-ening. The time was enjoyed playing play-ing bridge with high score club prize being. won by Mrs. Vernal Seamons and guest prize by Mrs. Herbert Seamons. Luncheon was served at small tables centered with vases of asters. There were 17 club members and the following follow-ing special guests present: Mrs. David Hurren, Mrs. Theron Ashcroft, Ash-croft, Mrs. Herbert Seamons, Mrs. Allan McQuarrie, Mrs. D. Price Balls and Miss Mildred Daines. Mrs. Daines was assisted during the evening by her mother, Mrs. F. T. Ballam. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Reeder and son Grant, left Wednesday morning for their home in Ames, Iowa. They have spent six weeks visiting at the homes of their parents. par-ents. Bishop and Mrs. J. W. E. Lamb. A large number of townspeople attended Cache stake conference in Logan Sunday. School was dismissed Monday so that the school children could enjoy the Cache County Fair. The Thrifty-Ten 4-H sewing club under the leadership of Mrs. Faye Waite and Miss Mildred Ashcroft closed their season's work with a social at the home of Mrs. Eliza Thurston Thursday afternoon. Special guests included the mothers moth-ers of the club girls. The season's work was put on exhibit and was judged by Missi Eleanore Tasso and Mrs. Laura Shumway.
