C Has I Guests of Honor The members of Southern Utah Presbytery Presbytery Presbytery Pres Pres- were the guests of honor at the Chamber of Commerce luncheon Thursday noon at the El Escalante About fifty business and professional men were In attendance to honor these guests who spent several days In our city Dr E. E A. A Farrow presided over the luncheon and Introduced Rev H. H J. J who In turn presented the thc guests as follows Rev Chas H. M Paden Salt Lake Mr then spoke briefly on the Presbyterian Church Its plan of government and a afew afew few rew of its outstanding doctrines doctrine The principal address was delivered r rad radby d dby by Dr Paden who congratulated Cedar Cedar Cedar Ce Ce- dar City on the splendid spirit shown by its citizens He lIe said that for fifty years the Presbyterian Church had owned property in Cedar and had re refused refused refused re- re fused to sell seU it b because cause they believed In the future of the place He lIe also thanked the citizens of Ceda Cedar for the help in the building of th the splendid church and manse which he said was probably the finest Protestant church building In Utah outside of larger cities He also stated that the tine Presbyterian Presbyterian Presbyterian Presby Presby- terian Church is always ready to cooperate cooperate co co- operate In every way with other churches The address of welcome was ed by Mr Arthur Fife who expressed the pleasure of the Chamber and the city In having the Presbytery here hele He Hc spoke of the spirit of operation co-operation which is actuating the churches of to to to- day Special music was rendered by Miss Jena V.
