Alumni Association Asks For 1000 At the meeting of the city council Thursday night M M. J. J Uric Urie and Cleo Dix representing the B. B A A. C C. Alumni Association asked of the city fathers father an appropriation of 1000 for the B. B A. A C. C athletic fetid The gentlemen ald that it was the intention that if the city could afford to appropriate this sum the athletic field neld could be used as a community field The officials of the city were in favor of the move but wanted time to decide whether or not the amount amount asked for could be given legally and the matter was taken under advisement advisement advise ment until such time as information c could uld be secured from the attorney general as to the legality of making such an appropriation
