E G. G Peterson Peterson Peter Peter- son Dean F. F L. L West Nest and lion Hon Wilford Day representing the tho Agricultural Agricultural Agricultural Agri Agri- cultural College and Board hoard of Trustees arrived on the morning train At 11 it o'clock a colorful assemblage assemblage assemblage assem assem- blage of old students and patrons gathered for the Founders Exercises in the school auditorium filling the hall to overflowing Hon Wilford Day presided Dr E. E G. G Peterson delivered the Founders Address No part of the days day's program was more enjoyed than the barbecue which was served following the tho meeting For the fifth consecutive e year a feast was served to the en entire entire entire en- en tire crowd assembled All partook plentifully and many declared it to tobe tobe be of surpassing excellence The afternoon program took visitors visitors visitors visit visit- ors into the departments where they came in intimate contact with the workings of the school Pilgrimage journeys began at the gymnasium where the barbecue was served leading leading leading lead lead- ing first fint to the Mechanic Arts de department department department de- de where auto mechanics mechanic wood and iron work are housed hoUed From here the course lead to an exhibit exhibit ex ex- hibit of the tho Home Economics department depart depart- ment in the Science Building In Inthis Inthis Inthis this building are also found Cound the laboratories all of which conducted conducted con con- ducted demonstrations for the tho interest inter Inter- est cot and instruction of visitors The Library Building which contains the c college library the Business Depart Depart- ment and Agricultural Laboratories was next to be visited after atter which the new heating plant carne camp in for inspection Perhaps the tho place which attracted most interesting was the agricultural barns where the blooded livestock arc are kept Here are found fine dairy herds of both the Holstein and and tho the Jene Jersey breeds each branch of which claims a state champion cow and other individuals now on on official test Nor do the champions end enl with that At the head of the flock of Rambouillet sheep stands the grand champion ram of the 1025 1825 Southern Utah Rambouillet Show and by his side is his running mate the 1925 grand champion ewe The poultry hogs a and d horses were also iJ on 1 exhibit anc Br presented an interesting array of purebred stock A feature of the day was the tho demonstration demonstration demonstration dem dem- conducted by the students of the college calling attention to the need of a gymnasium for the school The day will close with the school play Turn to the tho Right which has haa been especially prepared for this 1 rY lol Io Mr E.
