A Y Hardy emphasised the tho necessity of the support of the mothel moth moth- el eu ets s who have the erroneous belief that sons who enter peacetime military military mili mili- tary become cannon fodder during war He lIe solicited recruits not only for the National Guard but also for forthe forthe forthe the band and assured mothers that their sons would be better in every way for having had military service Atty Reuben J J. J Shay manager of the band promised a band by summer sum mer concert season as good as any inthe inthe in inthe the state and also on behalf of the artillery promised military accomplishment equal to any in the state He lIe stated that Cedar City had three military organizations the band the National Guard and the moral sup port of the public Geo Winter U U.
