Show Pioneers Honored HO The officers of the Cedar Camp of the Daughters of Pioneers were hostesses at a social given gien Monday afternoon in the Library auditorium In honor of the pioneers of C Cedar dar City A very fine program was given given en which included reminiscent talks by Jos H. H Armstrong Col Andrew Corry and David Bulloch A short sketch of t the e life of her Mother Mrs Keturah Parry was g given gen en by Mrs I Adair Mrs 1 Flossie and Mr Ott Otto Fife very beautifully sang song the duet One Fleeting Hour flour A lovely trio triG was given gi by the Misses l Faun Jensen Jensen Jensen Jen Jen- sen Lapriel and Naomia Damson these girls have extraordinary fine voices and splendid d musical talent They will all be heard from in a big wa way in the near future no doubt Very dainty refreshments were served from a table having as a center piece a large bowl of red and white roses At each end of the table there were brass candle sticks which held green candles yellow and green are the pioneer colors During the program a letter addressed addressed addressed ad ad- dressed to the county officers from the c central camp president Mrs Woodruff was read by Mrs E. E C. C Watson Mrs Woodruff expressed keen pleasure in learning that theold theold the theold old pioneer cabin had been moved to its future permanent pla place e in the City Park Before Defore departing for their homes the guests enjoyed a nice visit with each other and the cutest ever pioneer gentleman was heard to say sayto sayto sayto to the belle of ye olden times I wish we could have an affair of this thU kind every week tn nt |
