Show Sustains Serious Injury 10 o Wm Stephens was brought in from Desert Mound yesterday morning suffering from a very serious Injury received while working as switchman 1 on one one of the ore trains that operate between the mine and the crusher It appears that Mr Stephens had just just- switched onto the main line and fiad jumped on the rear car having his left leg hanging down from the car when the second ore train came up unnoticed by him and collided with the train he was working on catching his left leg breaking both bones and mangling the flesh just above above a a- bove the knee The injured man was rushed to the county hospital where his injuries were given surgical attention by Dr J. J W W. Bergstrom Reports from the hospital are that i Mr Stephens is resting and doing as well as could possibly be expected considering the nature of his injury to oo ot |
