The news hunter for this paper was not on the job at the proper time i o Ijhxonidle the fents that opened the New Year, and that's the reason the announcement now made is late. Very few cities in the United Unit-ed States noted the arrival of babies on the New Year morn, and Gunnison, -vith New York, were among them. Here in Gunnison Mr. and Mrs. Newell Olsen were made the fond parents of a dandy baby boy January Janu-ary 1st, and their happiness, perhaps, per-haps, kept them from the news leuth. The new son will be able to ;oast of having been born on the new year and also of being the first -randson direct in the Hans Olsen family.
