Show Boston Wool Co. Buys Local G?p Approximately 50,000 wool flee, i s, principally all fed wools, only a feV divert fed wools being included, were purchased by M. W. Anderson, local representative and buyer for the Jeremiah Williams company of Boston, Bos-ton, Mass., during the past few weeks. The pool included the wool from Gunnison, Salina, Centerficld, Fayette, Richfield and the wool from the herds in Wayne county. The "'"'-"re price paid was 35 cents per pound, and is considered good, comparatively com-paratively speaking, and is within 1 three cents of the highest price pi'd .-I Salina and Manti. The Man'i poo brought thirty-five and Ihn e : quarters, while that of Salina went at thirty-five cents per pound. Delivery of the wool, Mr. Anderson Ander-son stated, would be made May 15, and the major portion will be shipped ' from this point. The usual ad', unco ' of $1 per fleece was made to the " sellers. |
