Show YOUNG VAULTER INJURED. Lloyd Jorgensen, 11, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jorgensen, had real aspirations aspir-ations to develop his athletic prowess, and had been making splendid headway head-way until last Saturday. Lloyd had been showing his "kid" friends just how far he could lift himself with the vaulting pole over a line set up in the back yard of his home. In one attempt to break his record he misjudged mis-judged and was thrown heavily to the ' i ground, with the result that he lit ; heavily on the right arm and shoulder, (! causing a slight fracture. He was i given treatment here, and likely he L i will be taken to the Salina hospital i for an X-ray examination to deter-' deter-' ! mine whether the bone was broken or I just cracked. ;i |
