Show Grade School Plans MoveSEniertainment Students of the Washington grade school will present a very interesting and entertaining program in the auditorium au-ditorium of the Gunnison Valley high school building Wednesday of next week, December 3rd, and patrons of the school and the general public are cordially invited and urged to attend. The program has been planned in connection con-nection with the drive for library books for the Washington school and teachers and students have been working work-ing diligently for the past few weeks preparing the program, and some real dramatizing, dancing, reading and other features of entertainment will be presented. The program to be given will be as follows: Chorus, students of the junior high; two playlets, "Little Red Hen" and "Black Sambo," first grade; song, "Finger Band," second grade; poem, "When Mother's Away," June Edwards; patriotic drill and dance, fourth grade; song, "December," third grade; minuet, fifth grade; piano solo, Boyd Nielsen; dance junior high students; stu-dents; ten-minute talk, W. H. Bailey, grammar grade supervisor. There will be a small admittance charge and the money that is received receiv-ed will be used to buy books that are much needed in connection with the school work. As patrons enter the door and pay the admittance fee, they will be presented with popcorn. Inasmuch as this is a very worthy cause and that the students of the school will get the direct benefit from the books that are to be purchased, local school patrons and the . public ' should encourage the movement by attending at-tending this feature entertainment. The program will prove well worth the small amount that will be charged and remember - - it is a worthy cause . and needs the support of the public, .,,'' |
