Show 4 Manti Woman Dies At Daughter's Home I k Following an illness lasting for j i nearly eight years, and with a weak- l ened condition as a result of a slight i stroke of apoplexy about four years ago, Mrs. Johanna C. Peterson died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. j . Floyd Childs, in Gunnison Sunday evening. Mrs. Peterson had suffered with diabetes for many years, and this is given as the cause of her death. Mrs. Peterson made her home at Manti, but came to Gunnison to be with her daughter for a week. Through her frequent visits here, she made a large acquaintance of friends, who will join the relatives in their sorrow. Mrs. Peterson was a true native of Utah, and was born at Manti, July ' 14, 1877. When she grew to woman-j0 woman-j0 11 hood she took an active part in the l(lSee auxiliary work of the L. D. Ten brothers and sisters and seven grandchildren also survive. One sister, Mrs. L. C. Munk, is a resident f Gunnison. I, The body was taken to Manti and u Prepared for burial, and Wednesday &t 2 o'clock impressive funeral ser- vices were held, with Bishop E. T Reid officiating. Many from Gunnison Gunni-son attended the burial services. |
