Show AN ORDINANCE. AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING SUCH ROADS WITHIN SANPETE SAN-PETE COUNTY, UTAH, WHERE ALL HORSE-DRAWN VEHICLES SHALL CARRY LIGHTS WHEN IN USE DURING THE NIGHTTIME. NIGHT-TIME. The Board of County Commissioners Commission-ers of Sanpete County, State of Utah, ordains as follows: Section 1. That every horse-drawn vehicle, when in use on any of the public roads or highways, hereinafter designated, within Sanpete County. Utah, during the time between one hour after sunset and one hour before ,, sunrise, shall be equipped with at least one lighted lamp or lantern so arranged that, said lighted lamp or lantern shall be visible from both the front and rear of said vehicle, namely: name-ly: All highways within said Sanpete County which now are or hereafter may be designated as State Highways; High-ways; and the following County Roads, to-wit: The County Road between' be-tween' Mt. Pleasant and Moroni; the County Road between Spring City and Chester; the County Road between Moroni and Wales; the County Road between Wales and Freedom; the County Road between Freedom and Ft. Green; the County Road between Mayfield! and Gunnison, via the Gunnison Gun-nison Railway Station; the County Road between Mayfield and the point where said county road intersects with the State Highway between Gunnison and Manti; and the County Road be- tween Gunnison and Clarion. Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or use any horse-drawn vehicle upon any of the public roads within Sanpete County, Utah, designated in Section 1 of this ordinance, during any of the time between be-tween one hour after sunset and one hour before sunrise, unless such vehicle ve-hicle be equipped with a least one lighted lamp or lantern, so arranged that said lighted lamp or lantern shall be visible from both the front and rear of said vehicle. Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed gulty of misdemeanor, misdemean-or, and shall be punished by a fine in any sum less than Three Hundred Dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not exceeding six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect on the 20th day of August, A. D. 1929. Passed by the Board of County Commissioners of Sanpete County, Utah, this Cth day of August, A. D. 1D29.
