Show School Executives For P.-T.A. Meet D. W. Parratt, executive secretary for the Utah Education association, who took an active part in the arrangement ar-rangement of the tax amendments pertaining- to school interests at the last election, will be one of the principal prin-cipal speakers at the conjoint meet- ing of the Gunnison and Centerfield Parent-Teacher associations to be held at .the Gunnison Valley high school auditorium this, Thursday, evening. The meeting will be called promptly at eight o'clock and some important matters will be discussed. Mr. Parratt, Par-ratt, one of Utah's most active promoters' pro-moters' of higher education, will have a real message for his listeners. Taxpayers, Tax-payers, not only from Gunnison but from all sourrounding communities, are urgently requested to attend the meeting. In addition to Mr. Parratt, Superintendent Superin-tendent E. T. Reid of the South Sanpete San-pete school district, will give an address ad-dress dealing with the problems of the schools in his district. Superintendent Superin-tendent Reid will use charts in outlining out-lining his talk and will more clearly bring out the high points of his theme. A special program has been arranged arrang-ed for the meeting tonight and the numbers will include the "following: Reading, Mrs. A. Barlow; vocal trio, Mesdames Gordon Sorenson, Elton Sorcnson and Bert Jensen, with "Mrs. Gilbert Fjeldsted as accompanist; reading, Miss Margaret Finnell; vocal duet, Mrs. June Metcalf and Mrs. J. E. Metcalf. |
