The Idahoans came south at the announcement of the death of Mrs. Blaine Bartholomew of Fayette, a near relative. Carl A. Erikson, the engineer, and who is doing special work in Piute county for the Telluride Power company, com-pany, spent Sunday at his home here. Mr. Erikson is making surveys between be-tween Circleville and Panguitch for the power company. LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Madsen and children of Salt Lake, are in the city as the guests of relatives. The Mad-sen's Mad-sen's came down to attend the funeral funer-al services for Mrs. Blaine Bartholomew, Bartholo-mew, which were held at Sterling Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Madsen and son, of Chesterfield, Idaho, came in Carl Bilsted, representing "The Westerner," the new magazine of Salt Lake, was here Wednesday. Mr. Bilsted reported his trip as being highly successful in securing subscriptions sub-scriptions for his magazine. R. C. Anderson, manager for the Manti Motor company, Manti, and Mrs. Anderson, spent several hours in Gunnison Wednesday. Mr. Anderson Ander-son was here looking after some business matters. |
