Show Gunnison Schools Plan for Commencement Exercises Fifteen sweet girl graduates and fifteen boys, making a total of thirty, thir-ty, will receive graduation diplomas at the commencement exercises of the Gunnison Valley high school, to be held at the auditorium Thursday, May 15, beginning promptly at 8:15 o'clock. The total of graduates this year, is three below that of last year, are announced to be held at the high school auditorium Wednesday evening of the coming week. The program will start at eight o'clock and patrons of the school are invited to be present pres-ent and witness the impressive exercises. exer-cises. There are thirty-nine prospective candidates for diplomas, a slight increase in-crease over the previous year, indicating indi-cating that the school term just clos- j ing has been highly successful. Ferre due, it is said, to the fact that some of the students that started, taking other courses in business, cut the possible pos-sible number down. However, the 1929-30 1929-30 school term has proven highly satisfactory and splendid progress has been made. Dr. Nelson is at present with the faculty of the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young university at Provo. Miss Julia Modeen, chosen as valedictorian vale-dictorian for the graduating exercises, exer-cises, will be one of the prominent members on the program.
