Show Centerfield P.-T. A. Asks Improvements Grounds and surroundings of the Lincoln school at Centerfield, are to undergo some changes and will receive re-ceive some needed improvements, if the application of the Centerfield Parent-Teachers association, to the South Sanpete school board meet with favorable results. At the initial meeting of the association, asso-ciation, held last Thursday evening in the Lincoln school building, it was decided to make application to the school board for aid in the remodeling remodel-ing of the old vacant school building, and to turn it into a gymnasium and to install a library, and to have the old fence removed or repaired and the grounds generally improved. , It is hoped that the. board will consent to the aid, as Centerfield has no place for indoor sports nor library. Mrs. 0. L. Malmgren, newly elected elect-ed president of the association, had' charge of the meeting and several talks and musical numbers were furnished furn-ished by members and special guests. Leo. D. Bardsley, principal of the Gunnison Valley high school, and Milton Mil-ton Perkins, music teacher of the high school, were among those furnishing fur-nishing special numbers. Other numbers num-bers on the program were short discourses dis-courses by Dewey Lund, principal of the! Lincoln school, and Sidney Fjeld-sted, Fjeld-sted, school board member. |
