Mrs. Jones, while at the city, consulted a throat specialist for an affliction that has .recently developed. Mrs. H. S. Gates of Salina; visited with her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Swain, Tuesday. Returning she was accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Swain and three daughters. The latter have been vic-'tims vic-'tims of the "flu" and they were tak-cn tak-cn to Salina for care and treatment.' ' Ray McFarland, one of Utah's foremost cattle dealers, with head-! head-! quarters at Salt Lake, was in Gunnison Gun-nison Tuesday. Mr. McFarland was conferring- with Richard Fjeldsted, who is feeding a number of cattle i for the McFarland company.
