Show r k Officers Are Named For Health Center Mrs. Joseph A. Larson was chosen chairman, Mrs. E. L. Swalberg, vice-chairman, vice-chairman, Mrs. J. E. Metcalf, secretary, secre-tary, Mrs. J. A. Hagan, treasurer, at the completion of the organization if the Uunnson VaJley health center clinic clin-ic the first of the week. In addition to the rogular officers the following assistants were named to aid in carry-1 lng out the clinics: Mrs. A. A. Beck, Mrs. John Peterson Jr., Mrs. Elmer Niolson, Mrs. Rupert Bouvang and Mrs. Joe Willardson. Today the new officers and their assistants are starting the year's j work by holding a clinic for all babies j from two to six years of age, and for j all children who will enter school at! the opening of the fall and winter sessions ses-sions next Monday. The clinic starts at 9 this morning and will be continued contin-ued until noon, and all children within with-in the ages mentioned will be examined examin-ed free of charge. Children from Gunnison, Gun-nison, Centerfied, Clarion and Axtell will be admitted at today's free examination. ex-amination. Dr. J. A. Hagan, who has had charge of the examinations at the clinics held in previous years, will he in charge and he will be ably assisted: by competent co-workers and nurses. ! It has not been definitely announced: whether more than one clinic will be hold yearly or not, the matter depending depend-ing on arrangements made by the state in supporting the movement in a financial way. |
