Show POPULAR GUNNISON FOLKS ARE MARRIED AT NEPHI A. J. Thompson, popular assistant mechanic at the Gunnison Sugar company, com-pany, and Mrs. Olive Pace, proprie- tor of the Shamrock Inn, staged a big surprise on their hosts of friends on j their return from Ne phi ' March 16, when they announced that they had been married the previous day. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Smith, a former schoolmate of the bride, and in the presence of a few intimate friends. Mrs. Thompson, who came to Gunnison Gun-nison more than a year ago, has been engaged in the cafe business and operating op-erating the Shamrock Inn. She is well known in Southern Utah, having taught domestic science in Salina, Kanab and Ephraim. Mr. Thompson is a native of Gunnison Gun-nison and for the past several years he has been associated with the Gunnison Gun-nison Sugar company, as assistant mechanic. The hosts of warm friends will join in wishing for Mr. and Mrs. Thompson happiness and fortune in their matrimonial voyage. They will make their home in Gunnison. |
